If gearbox did some actual balancing and quality of life improvements they wouldn't need to release a game mode, I wager will last a week before people put it down. The issue is unlike the first few games legendaries don't feel as impactful, heck most epic level gear is worthless at mayhem 10. except this is a borderlands game, a looter shooter this game mode is polar opposite of what a looter shooter is. Maybe you'll hold onto a green or white rarity because it looks or sounds cool or handles a way you like or something. So, a mode that strips you away of your comfort gear and makes you use tons of different weapons is actually a good thing. Part of what causes B元 to get stale for me (besides the lack of a server browser, despite enemy level and loot being instanced per-player) is that it is very easy for me to stick with my preferred guns, never using anything else.
